“Vibrant Mosaic” Class in Florida

We came. We saw. We sat. We talked. We ate coconuts. This May 15-18, Eden, Calenthia, Randy, and Pastor Jacob attended the first in-person gathering of the new Vibrant Mosaic program in Homestead, Florida. For a description of the program, click here. Then check out our photos below!

We split into groups to do skits about intercultural conflict. The setting for this one is a minivan on the way to the Vibrant Mosaic gathering. Johnathan and Eden (in the front seats) want to check out the sights. Randy and Pastor Andrés (in the back seats) want to stick to the plan. And Pastor Jacob and Jocelyn (in the middle seats) try to keep the peace.

We ate a lot of Cuban, Mexican, and Columbian food. Also, donuts. Here, Randy, Pastor Jacob, and Noel share a table …

… Eden, Marta, Calenthia, and Jen eat at another …

… and Danilo, Denny, Ezekiel, and Johnathan round out the dinner group.

After two full days of meetings, we had a free day on Sunday. So your Ambler Mennonite delegation decided to visit the alligator farm. This included alligator-holding…

… and an airboat ride through the Everglades.
